Nutrien continues to help build stronger communities in Saskatchewan
To mark 65 years of potash mining Nutrien creates grant program to empower community groups across the province
Saskatoon, SK (August 1, 2024) – To celebrate the company’s 65 year legacy of potash mining in Saskatchewan, Nutrien continues to give back to the people of the province by supporting projects and initiatives where residents are nourished and supported. Today, Nutrien announced the Building Stronger Communities Together Grant which will benefit 65 community groups across Saskatchewan with grants of $2,500 each for projects that will have a meaningful impact on the community. The type of projects supported may include food pantries, food nutrition programming, cultural celebrations, community gatherings and emergency preparedness.
Applications will be open from August 1 to September 30, 2024, and eligible groups are invited to learn more about the grant and apply through the Saskatoon Community Foundation. https://saskatooncommunityfoundation.ca/grants/nutrien-building-stronger-communities-together/
