Nutrien announces the "Building Stronger Communities Together Grant" recipients

In 2024, Nutrien launched the "Building Stronger Communities Together Grant," demonstrating our dedicated partnership with the communities where we operate. This initiative celebrates our deep roots in Saskatchewan, the heart of our potash operations, by awarding 65 local organizations a $2,500 grant each. Administered alongside the Saskatoon Community Foundation (SCF), the grants total $162,500, support projects that align with Nutrien’s Resilient Communities focus area.

“Our commitment is to create meaningful impacts within these communities by enhancing local engagement and partnerships. Through these grants, we will witness the incredible potential local initiatives have in uplifting our communities,” says Renee Glushyk, Senior Manager, Community Relations & Investment. “We are honored to support our Building Stronger Communities Together Grant recipients as they empower communities across Saskatchewan.”

The recipients were selected based on criteria such as community impact, alignment with Nutrien's core values and project feasibility. Each project chosen provides a direct benefit to local residents, enhancing their quality of life and contributing to long-term community resilience.

Together, let's continue to build a stronger Saskatchewan.”
