Growing relationships with Indigenous veterans and youth

We aim to invest in organizations and projects that ensure the residents of diverse communities are nourished and supported. And we value the perspectives shared with through our relationship with Indigenous Peoples and communities, because we care about the lives and communities we affect. To wrap up 2023, we had the pleasure of joining two of our Indigenous community partners in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan area.

We are proud to be a long-time supporter of the Saskatchewan First Nations Veterans Association Gala. This event draws important attention to the distinguished legacy of Indigenous veterans in the Canadian Armed Forces. Members of our team enjoy visiting with veterans and their families each year, and we are so grateful for the time spent with them hearing about their experiences.

Participating in White Buffalo Youth Lodge (WBYL) events through the year provides opportunities for our employees to take an active role in the important work (WBYL) does, and to see the power of WBYL's efforts in action. We had a great time serving food and visiting during their holiday meal.
